Beginning Nordic Ski Lessons Open for Registration

The Girdwood Nordic Ski Club has partnered with the FVCS to offer Adult Nordic Ski Lessons right here in our own backyard. We are lucky to have experienced Nordic Coach Tyler Henegan in Girdwood to help improve your skills; you will also meet other cross country skiers and community members, and better enjoy your time out on the local trails with improved skills. Session 1 starts Monday January 18th!

These classes are small group and geared toward the beginner to low intermediate skier, and will cover basic classic skiing techniques. This is the year to get out on the local trails, work on your ski form, and improve your overall fitness.

SEE ALL CLASSES AVAILABLE FOR REGISTRATION HERE.

All classes will be held at Moose Meadow unless changed by Coach Tyler.

Covid precautions will include mandatory mask wearing, social distancing, small groups (between 4-6 students), pre-class health questionaire and follow State of Alaska travel mandates. View our Nordic Lesson COVID-19 Mitigation Plan here.

If you have questions about the mechanics of this class please contact instructor Tyler Henegan: tyler.henegan@gmail.com. For registration contact FVCS at registration@fourvalleys.org.
