Graduating Seniors! Four Valleys Community School partners with Girdwood Turnagain Arm Lion’s Club to provide two $1000.00 scholarships for local graduating seniors. Applicants interview with a small committee. You must be a full-time resident of Girdwood, Bird, Indian or Portage to be eligible and be a graduating senior at an accredited institution. This includes Anchorage School District, as well as State of Alaska/Municipality of Anchorage charter and home schools. Applicant must demonstrate prior involvement in community activities, being a peer leader, and a positive influence in our community.
