Four Valleys Community School (FVCS) offers recreational, educational and cultural activities for all ages, serving the Four Valleys area (Girdwood, Portage, Bird and Indian, Alaska).

Registration for the Fall/Winter Session is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010. Look for the Fall/Winter Program guide in your post office boxes in mid-September. You can sign up online for classes, provided space is available, by clicking on the categories on the left of your screen. Fall/Winter classes are planned to be posted in late September.
On-line registrations: We now accept credit cards, but you must go to the FVCS office with your card after you have downloaded and printed the forms here. In some cases, the FVCS office will be able to take your credit card information by phone. It is necessary to either mail (to P.O. Box 790, Girdwood, AK 99587) or drop off your registration form, liability release form and payment to the FVCS office. Register anytime! You may continue to register throughout the session, provided space is available in your chosen class(es).
All classes require registration, a signed liability waiver (separate form) and payment prior to attending class. Fees are refundable for canceled classes only. There is a $5.00 registration fee charged per person each session. Make checks payable to Four Valleys Community School, Inc. (FVCSI). A $25 fee is charged for any NSF checks. Scholarships are available; please contact the FVCSI Coordinator for information and/or to apply.
Your Responsibility: Although every precaution is taken to safeguard you and your belongings, some of the Four Valleys Community School (F.V.C.S.) activities/classes by their nature involve a certain amount of known and unknown risk. F.V.C.S. assumes no responsibility for injuries, death, financial losses or damage to clients' property caused by or occurring during participation in any of the activities/classes offered by F.V.C.S. Participants must assume responsibility for having sufficient skill and fitness to participate in the activities/classes offered by F.V.C.S. Participants must also certify that they have no medical, mental or physical conditions which could interfere with their abilities to participate in the activities/classes they are participating in and they must assume and bear the cost of all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition. F.V.C.S. requires that all participants acknowledge and expressly assume all risks associated with participation in activities/classes by reading and signing a F.V.C.S. Release and Waiver and Assumption of Risk contract prior to participation.
