Each October we urge community members to clean out their closets and garages, and bring their sporting goods to the Alyeska Daylodge for a huge swap. This is a fundraiser for Four Valleys Community School, and a great annual community event.
The 2013 Ski & Sports Swap will be Saturday October 19 at the Alyeska Daylodge from Noon-5pm. Bring your high quality used sporting equipment to sell from 9am-11am day of sale. This is a fundraiser for FVCS and 25% of sale goes to help support our program.
Pick up your Control Sheets and Tags at the FVCS office located at the Girdwood School. We have them in our office, as well as in the lobby if our office is closed. New this year: bring your completed Control Sheet and items tagged and ready to go the day of the swap and enjoy the new Express Lane during gear check-in. Another reason to have your stuff ready to go!
Can you volunteer to work a few hours during the set up, the day of, or helping clean-up? Each year we organize 100 volunteers to help us pull off this event.
